Congratulations to the bismarck High boys tennis team, who beat out Century yesterday in Minot for a spot in the state tournament! It's been 6 or 7 years since they've made it to state as a team, although Grant Bakke can be counted on to make it individually each year. The Urban Harvest is up and running again this year and as usual it makes me want to take a vacation to San Francisco. Why San Francisco, you might ask? Well it’s because it seems that every liberal, hippie, & do gooder has descended on downtown bismarck and I would like to distance myself from that sort of nonsense. Congratulations  2008 graduates and good luck for the future! We hosted and also attended several open houses and the BHS ceremonies this weekend. What a mature bunch of seniors they've turned out to be - I have high hopes for this generation. They appear much more selfless and compassionate than I remember being at that age.... Read More

I no longer believe the weather forecast which promises rain almost every week for Bismarck. Last night they claimed we'd see it again today so...
